My client is a global marketing leading manufacturer of controls, filtration, valves, heat exchange and fluid related equipment for high and low pressure applications throughout HVAC, water, oil, gas, food, chemical, manufacturing and process industries. The Role Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director the selected applicant will be expected to report all sales / business pipeline activity on a monthly basis. You will be supported from a team of internal sales engineers who will assist with any technical back up needed to assist in closing the sale and supporting the customer. The successful applicant will be responsible for selling a wide variety of high & low pressure valves and control related products into contractors, OEMs, end-users and distributors within the sales region with particular focus on the HVAC, M&E, Schools, Hosiptals, chemical, food, manufacturing and process markets. This will involve selling to existing customers, winning new business and managing / chasing project sales opportunities. However, the majority of your time will be spent managing existing customers with a view to up selling within these accounts. This is a home based role that requires regular customer visits the sales territory. We anticipate one day will be spent working from your home office with four days focusing on developing and managing customers. The candidate criteria: The successful candidate will ideally have a technical qualification within either mechanical, electronics, electrical or scientific discipline (HNC / degree / Time served). Must live within the sales region. You will have excellent communications skills and able to communicate and sell to a wide variety of levels. A proven track record of business to business sales.
