Job Responsibilities Self Generation – making appointments with MD’s and FD’s in the corporate market business to business Work in conjunction with colleagues to maximise new business opportunities. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all market activities, and be able to relay this information to clients and prospects. Contact prospective clients on a regular basis to provide additional information and advice Use initiative to propose new ideas, strategies and methods of working to maximise success in the business development team. Prepare thoroughly for and attend new business appointments and prepare a meeting planner. The main task is to secure energy procurement contracts with large medium size clients and large corporate customers The Candidate The following experience/qualifications are essential to this role: · Outstanding proven track record in business to business sales of gas and electricity contracts, you will have worked for an energy supplier, consultancy or broker · Will consider strong new business sales professionals who have sold a services in to the corporate market · Strong Closing skills · Good knowledge of Corporate/ Medium size companies · Graduate Level · Ability to solution sell complex financial commercial propositions · Knowledge of flexible gas and electricity contracts · Tenacious and persistent in pursuit of winning high value service contracts This job was originally posted as
