We currently have an opportunity for a Delivery Supervisor to join the team at our Brighton depot. Using your experience within retail and knowledge of the local area retail / sector you will ensure that resources are planned efficiently so that customers receive their goods in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include:- To increase sales by achieving high pick accuracy and availability. To ensure that Branch/Customer set-up is correct and preferred order capture methods are used – Web Ordering. To monitor and challenge the Team to improve pick rates and administration time. To manage the Team effectively to achieve daily pick. To make sure the Team is focused on availability, accuracy and quality when picking orders. To engage with customers and to use feedback to improve service levels and customer satisfaction. To take ownership for behaviors and attitudes encouraging the right culture and challenging the Team to improve service. To have an effective plan in place to achieve the set Delivery KPI’s and improve Customer Satisfaction scores (Web Conversion, Pick Rates, Accuracy). To ensure that all required Company records are maintained and filed at correct times. To manage performance, coach and develop the Team on an ongoing basis. To Monitor pickers and Pick Rates (KPI) Identify Loss & Lapsed Customers Ensure that customers are ordering week on week and chasing where possible To be flexible and cover shifts and other tasks as required. We’re looking for someone with; Experience of working in a customer service, retail environment Excellent knowledge of the local area A basic understanding of appropriate legislation, however full training will be given Ideally, experience of supervising a small team Excellent organisational skills to plan routes and time frames effectively A good level of IT literacy, confident and comfortable using different systems Good communication and influencing skills The ability to plan and prioritise effectively Initiative along with a willingness to learn and develop their skills Drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment In return for your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive salary 30 days holiday (inclusive of statutory holidays) and pension. The role is working 44 hours per week on a rotational 5 & 6 day week.
