Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Leicester Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 plus £50,000 OTE and excellent benefits About The Training Provider: Our learning and development client is an award-winning training provider based in London. As a sales business development manager you will be working for a modern, forward thinking learning development business that puts the learner at the forefront of their business model. In the last ten years our client has grown and developed onto the international training market and are now at the stage where a Business Development Manager is essential to widen the scope of their clientele and ambitions working with proven training products and market leading technologies. About The Business Development Manager Role: Within the Business Development Manager position you will have an exciting opportunity to develop both your technical sales and client servicing skills in an established learning and development environment, for a growing training provider, with excellent progression opportunities. At this current time you will be leading the charge, with proven, market-leading training products, into various markets across several sectors, so B2B adaptability will be key with your sales portfolio. Key Responsibilities for Business Development Manager: Meet prospective clients in order to win their business and establish an ongoing relationship Source and proactively engage with prospective clients for your own personal targets whilst producing learning and development leads for the wider business Evolving small business into key accounts for the business Maintain a database of prospects contacting said prospects regularly in order to consult with them on how the business can help meet their needs, whilst reporting on your pipeline About You If you are currently in a sales consultantancy role or are currently working as a Business Development Manager this is the ideal next step in your sales career in a growing space. Desireable Skills and Competencies of the Business Development Manager: A minimum of two years sales B2B experience Car & full driving licence Professional communication skills within a B2B enviroment Of graduate calibre Experience with learning technologies (preferable but not essential) The Business Development Manager receives a highly competitive salary paying from £28,000 to £30,000 with an OTE of £45,000 in the first year.
