The role is home based and will cover Derbyshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcester The company A market leader in Ruminant Hygiene solutions and nutritional animal health products, our client is in an exciting growth phase and offers genuine career advancement for talented individuals. The Role If you have an in-depth knowledge of selling, negotiating and business development, then this career move may well be one for you. The role will require an ability and willingness to work at farm and merchant level. Responsibilities: To sell to, manage and build strong relationships with current customer base (farmers and merchants), in addition to developing new customers. Development and delivery of technical support through sharing knowledge, training and product application techniques to farmer and merchant customer base. To support new product launches. Analyse customer base and product offering, identifying opportunities for growth. The Ideal Person Ideally, either a third level qualification in Agriculture or related discipline with over three years selling experience. Or, several years' selling experience and the need to get involved in a new challenge. Have an understanding of mastitis control, parlour hygiene, lameness, fertility and any other factors affecting farm profitability. Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure successful delivery of training and recommendations for improvement. Enthusiastic, confident, committed and naturally aligned to working with people Passionate about agriculture and desire to educate and transfer knowledge so that our customers can improve their herd health and business profitability. Good presentation and listening skills.
