Industrial Waste Water Treatment Manager Salary - £35k - £45k per annum Our client has built an enviable reputation within the Water technology industry supporting a global client base providing integrated solutions and services. This is a key time in the further expansion of this high profile business and this position will form part of the strategic plan of delivery going forward. The company is now looking to recruit an experienced Industrial Waste Water Treatment Manager to join a highly driven team to maintain and enhance its delivery programme to a blue chip client base. Experience is required to deliver industrial waste water solutions both in the domestic and overseas markets understanding a wide range of water treatment solutions with the ability to integrate those products. The role requires the candidate to carry out detailed design, installation and commission of small to medium scale projects in the waste water treatment sector, including an understanding of the chemical processes and products required. You will provide technical support to assist with delivery activities. The role requires the individual to work with other members of the Design Team, Commercial Team and Delivery Team, to deliver a design solution that meets the client's requirements including consent levels, reliability, cost and service plans. Please note this position will entail varying degrees of travel so you must be flexible to stay away from home and must be in possession of a full passport & driving license . Knowledge and Experience Degree qualified (or equivalent relevant experience) in either Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant subject You will be a highly skilled specialist and will need detailed knowledge of industrial waste water treatment plants both from a 'hands-on' perspective and a theoretical design background. Wastewater modelling and previous experience in the design of wastewater management stations and networks is required. Clean water treatment experience would also be and advantage but not essential. Professionally qualified with experience of aerobic and anaerobic digestion, DAF, Lamella and other clarification products is required. Have experience with oil separation within the waste water industry Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures. Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team - both written and oral Excellent organisational skills and able to multi-task Must be able to plan and prioritise work load effectively Excellent client service focus flexible approach to work To apply for this role, please send your up to date CV using the apply link on this page.
