In this high profile role, with direct responsibility for the performance of some of our key service providers, you will ensure that our strategic relationships are proactively performance managed to achieve required business focused outcomes. Working directly with the operational and service teams you'll ensure Technology delivers a great service to its business customers. As a key member of the Technology leadership team you will directly support our strategy and vision through the maintenance of strong relationships with business stakeholders as well as our suppliers. You'll ensure that SLA's for suppliers, and their performance against them, contributes strategically to the department's delivery against business objectives. You will be proficient at managing the budgets and licenses for the relationships under your control and have an eye for detail and adding value. You will lead contract procurement and renewals including negotiations to ensure that solutions are commercial. Your reporting on KPI's will identify and develop opportunities for continuous service improvement and for additional value to be delivered to our business. To succeed in this role you will need: Good working knowledge of all aspects of managing outsourced IT services, including the use of offshore support providers. Significant experience in senior IT roles. ITIL certification and a relevant project management qualification. Strong commercial and financial awareness including understanding critical KPIs. Excellent networking and influencing skills. Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Education to degree level or equivalent graduate calibre in a relevant field (IT, business systems or a related field). The presence and confidence to make an immediate and sustained impact within the Company and across all external contacts. Advanced user of a number of systems to include the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio).
