Baltic Training Service are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable Software Development Company who require a Web Design Apprentice to join their highly successful team. Established over 15 years ago, our client predominantly develop software for sales use and have worked with some of the most prestigious brands in the UK. Reporting into the IT Technical Manager, you will working in a medium sized team assisting in creating, editing and launching various web based content across websites, blogs and other mediums. Based in Rainton Business Park, our clients' office is very easily accessible and close to local transportation links. During the apprenticeship you will be fully trained and mentored by talented members of the Software Development Team Duties Assist the marketing team in various efforts and projects. Create and manage web marketing campaigns; tying them to Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management tools. Set up your own campaigns. Monitor and optimise/edit new content. Skills Experience using Photoshop or similar visual design tools. Experience with HTML and CSS Aware and mindful of the basics of SEO. Be someone who enjoys learning and willing to learn the practical sides/roles of marketing. Keen interest in marketing, technology and design with the willingness to broaden skills and gain experience. Strong team ethic. Be a good multi-tasker who can jump between roles throughout the day while maintaining consistent quality. Desirable Experience Experience editing on and using Wordpress or similar CMS tools. Experience with Javascript and/or PHP Training provided Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software and Web Development. Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence. Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles. Level 2 Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT) Qualifications required Preferably 5 GCSE's (A-C) or equivalent or predicted.
