Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Chemicals - Polymers - World Wide Regulatory Submissions - Permanent - West London - £50-60k Excellent Company Benefits A global leader in the cosmetics sector is currently seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their team at their West London facility. You will need to be experienced in World Wide (WW) regulatory dossier submission and will possess experience working within the chemical (or related industry sectors), with polymer based expertise an ideal attribute. Job Responsibilities: You will be responsible for leading the chemical notification program of a set of proprietary ingredients. You will also be responsible for defining the testing strategy, planning and monitoring toxicological and eco-toxicological studies in collaboration with internal and external partners. The above tasks include evaluation of literature and study reports. You will contribute to the company strategy by becoming a regulatory expert on [products the company is using by preparing the safety assessments and expert reports for regulatory submissions on a worldwide basis. You will be required to follow up on the regulatory submissions and any potential discussions and negotiations with the authorities, internal clients and managers. Requirements: ? Bachelors/Masters degree qualification in a scientific discipline ? Chemical industry experience, in Regulatory Affairs. Global experience or polymer chemistry expertise is desirable ? Project Management skills in order to maintain deadlines for dossier clearance ? Develop the testing strategy and finalize it for a worldwide chemical registration/notification ? In-depth work with relevant experts; you will need to be able to explain the World Wide regulatory inputs, to develop the required information for the submissions ? World-wide notification/registration expertise in the chemically controlled and regulated countries to finalize the dossier to be submitted ? Defence of the submitted dossier with the relevant authorities ? Able to put together the appropriate pull of experts to find non-standard solutions ?
