The Content Editor will be responsible for editing, authoring and publishing accessible digital copy for online publishing in accordance with house style, brand guidelines, tone of voice and the SEO strategy. To provide support, training and guidance to content producers across the team. Client Details My client is a large Not for Profit and Charities body based in Guildford Description The ideal Content Editor will be required to Champion, deliver and continually develop the quality and effectiveness of our digital copy. Assist the Lead Digital Editor in planning, developing, monitoring, auditing, and approving the digital copy across our digital presence and proactively support colleagues. Ensure all digital communications remain consistent and true to the brand, house style and SEO. Deliver writing for the web training and support for content editors to create fit for purpose content for required digital delivery channels. Assist the Lead Digital Editor and Content Strategist in driving innovative content generation for digital communications across all channels. Profile The Content Editor must have the following Excellent editing skills. Good presentation and communications skills, using a variety of media. The ability to communicate point of views, analyses and recommendations to stakeholders of varying levels of seniority. Good analytical skills, attention to detail and accountability for results. A broad understanding of online business in either a commercial or an educational environment. A good understanding of digital channels and content delivery, information architecture, SEO, usability and accessibility. A good understanding of content management and publishing workflows from an editor and administrator perspective.
