Experienced Chef de Partie required to join a busy hotel kitchen brigade. You must be able to work as part of a team and also be able to work unsupervised and give clear guidance and training to others when required. You must be able to oversee your own section. Your duties will include preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your section, managing and training any demi chef de partie/commis chef working with you - assisting the sous chef and head chef developing new dishes and menus. You must be able to follow instructions from the sous chef and head chef working in a responsible manner. Reporting to the Head Chef you will play a pivotal role in the business. The hotel is a modern purpose built hotel with a spa and extensive conference and banqueting facilities. The hotel is set in a scenic setting of rolling parkland with its own lake, a backdrop of ancient woodland and a championship golf course. You will be required to work any 5 days over 7 - no split shifts. Salary: £18,000 You must possess: NVQ Level 3 or above Food Hygiene certificate The ideal candidate will be: Experienced in a similar role and environment, with a genuine commitment and passion for food and quality service Responsible for maintaining health and safety practices and good hygiene in line with company food safety standards within our kitchens Be a team player with good leadership, communication and organisational skills Be creative and able to deliver good customer satisfaction, ensuring consistency of all food to a consistently high standard This is a vacancy on behalf of Taskmaster who are operating as an employment agency/business.
