Role You will lead the Public Sector team to achieve revenue targets and promote the use of Esendex solutions in existing customers, new customers and new markets. You will be one of the key vertical team managers within the UK and Ireland sales team. You will create and execute a sales strategy to grow the Public Sector business unit. A classic “player/manager”, you will need to lead from the front. You will be responsible for: Growing the public sector territory The management of Public Sector accounts Assisting the company in building strong relationships with customers in the public sector and the positioning of the company as a trusted business partner Assisting the sales team in advancing sales opportunities with prospect qualification, development, production and presentation of solutions and contract negotiation and agreement Identifying customer requirements in other areas and engaging appropriate resource as to promote multi-channel solutions Ensuring that commercial and technical risks are identified and managed appropriately throughout the sales process Experience You will be an exceptional candidate, with a proven track in a similar role. Essential: Extensive experience of working with Local Authorities (highly desirable) or the Public sector Sales or Account Management environments in a management role Commercial awareness and customer facing skills Determining customer requirements and specifying technical solutions A strong communicator with well-developed presentation, negotiation and rapport-building skills Ability to articulate complex technical solutions and effectively translate solution into “real world” business benefits for Public Sector customers Full clean UK driving licence Desirable: Sales experience of offering software solution/services (SAAS) Experience in a telecoms business The next step To apply please send a full CV, a covering letter and as much supporting information by clicking the Apply buttomn This job was originally posted as
