Account Manager - Creative Brand Agency Salary £35,000 to £40,000 Our client is a creative brand and marketing agency based in London. They use psychology, behavioural economics and marketing expertise to create successful internal and external brand communications. This is a full time role covering maternity leave. The account manager is required to oversee marketing and digital projects on a day-to-day basis across a number of sectors, ensuring that they run smoothly and achieve their potential. Contact with clients is a key part of the job, so offering new and forward-thinking ideas is essential to the productive communication process. Reporting to the Managing Director throughout the duration of the maternity cover, this is a fast-paced environment that that is both demanding but fun, involving the co-ordination of internal and external staff. The agency will also depend on you to give your projects direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the very best outcome for the client. Key tasks: Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements. Working with agency colleagues to devise campaigns that meet the client's brief and budget Presenting alongside agency colleagues the campaign ideas and budget to the client Briefing creative, research and assisting with the formation of marketing strategies Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and the agency by maintaining regular contact with both. Ensuring that communication flows effectively. Negotiating with clients and agency colleagues on campaign details Working with a diverse and experienced team of in-house and freelance creatives, marketers and consultants Presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification Handling budgets, managing campaign costs, client billing administration Writing client reports Monitoring the effectiveness of campaign Undertaking administration tasks Arranging and attending meetings Working on 'pitches' along with other agency staff to win new business for the agency Skill sets required: Significant experience in a professional client relationship management. A solid background in marketing The ability to plan and strategise A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects Excellent written and oral communication skills Effective team management capabilities A keen attention to detail Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas The ability to work as an authoritative figure within a busy team Ability to work to tight client deadlines and to work under pressure Qualifications and experience required: 3 years within a related role. Any degree discipline is acceptable although a marketing, public relationships, business, management, social or behavioural science degree is preferred.
