Business Development Manager – Payment Solutions / £20-25,000 Basic salary depending on experience – OTE £45,000-55,000 uncapped, Fully expensed Company Car / Vacancies UK WIDE: A Territory within or near to your location will be assigned The Company Our Client is one of the fastest growing and largest independent merchant services provider in the UK. The Role Business Development Manager offering innovative card payment processing solutions to small-medium sized businesses. This will include providing a range of card payment machines and e-commerce payment products This is a 100% new business position, attending pre-booked appointments as well as self-generating opportunities, you will be responsible for winning new customers within your defined territory, maximising every sales opportunity including referrals. With a passion for sales and providing solutions, a great work ethic and the business owner’s needs at the forefront of every pitch, you will really make a difference to your customer’s. Essential Duties To be fully responsible for identifying, winning and managing leads/opportunities To be fully accountable for achieving personal sales targets and contributing to company sales. To attend company set appointments, on time and presenting the company’s products and services in a professional manner. Sales contracts and application documents should be correctly completed and submitted expeditiously together with all associated and required documentation to ensure that merchants are processed to live in accordance with company standard. To liaise with the customer and relevant company departments in all aspects of suspect, prospect and customer management. All required sales and other reports and administrative matters should be provided accurately and on time Key Elements: To meet and surpass all performance targets set by the company To operate effectively and profitably in accordance with devised and agreed strategy Company, Product and Market Knowledge The full range of company’s products and services should be thoroughly understood Opportunities and leads existing in relevant verticals should be identified and maximised All decision makers and influencers at prospective customers should be identified and contacted All relevant competitors should be understood with key advantages and benefits identified Required Experience / Qualifications: Proven and demonstrable track record of sales Fluent spoken and written English. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Able to use a PC and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualities: Ability to articulate and present ideas exceptionally self-motivated and directed. Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
