My client is a leading Professional Services Consulting Firm with a great reputation for client care and service delivery in the marketplace. Due to continuous growth they are looking to recruit an established Bid Manager to help win new profitable business through informal and formal Bid / Tender opportunities. This role requires you to demonstrate that you have the ability to not only project manage the creation of Bids, Tenders, pitches and proposals but also take on a challenging consultative role as well. Job Description Deliver Bid, Tenders, strategic support, professional proposal management and advice across all of the Firm's lines of services. Guide and challenge Divisional Heads and the wider Business Development team making the decision to tender Stop / Go advice Guide partners through a scoping process that will help determine what the client really wants and identify how the Firms services will match those needs. Create quality pitch content and messages that focus on delivering client needs. Challenge and coach on best practice throughout the proposal process. Challenge and coach at presentation rehearsals. Obtain debriefs from clients targets on pitch wins losses. Using analysis gathered to effect change improvements. What We Are Looking For Strong written/communication and attention to detail skills are a must to ensure all Bid activity is of the highest quality and brand compliant. Strong Bid strategic and commercial skills are critical coupled with the ability to develop positive and consultative stakeholder relationships quickly. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience handling and delivering the Bids and Tenders process gained from working in either a Professional Services arena - Law, Accountancy, Financial Services, Consultancy Firm or within a Government / Public Sector Services organisation. Having previous experience or an understanding of the Government (local/national) and Public Sector Bidding Process, or experience in mid markets or any exposure to delivering bids across Assurance/Audit service lines would be beneficial for interview as there are a number of roles available in these areas across the Firms Bid function.
