Our client based just outside Peterborough are looking to recruit a Technical & Regulatory Affairs Assistant on a fulltime permanent basis to assist the Head of Technical to ensure that the company complies with relevant legislation and meets customer specifications. The successful candidate will possess: •Ability to source technical information/ documentation from suppliers and respond clearly but concisely to Customer Service Team or Sales re: customer enquiries. •Competence in data entry, generation of compliance documentation i.e. Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s), REACH Declarations and BSE/ TSE Statements etc… and completion of supplier questionnaires. •The ability to work under pressure, to manage multiple enquiries, at various stages of completion and prioritise accordingly and have excellent attention to detail to ensure that all compliance documentation i.e. IFRA Certificates, Allergen Declarations and INCI Listings etc…, are maintained, current and accurate. •Ability to manage own time efficiently, work independently and assist the Head of Technical to ensure all customer enquiries are completed in a timely manner. Candidate requirements: •Educated to degree level or equivalent within Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or similar scientific or related discipline •Excellent computer skills, (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint). •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. •Experience of Soil Association/ COSMOS or EU Cosmetic Regulation requirements (CPSR’s and PIF’s) would be advantageous.
