The HRBP role within ACCA provides the conduit between the business (markets/regions or directorates) and the HR function, owning the relationship with business stakeholders for the execution and delivery of all strategic and operational people issues within the markets or directorate. Client Details A global professional services business based in Central London. Description As a HRBP you will need to have a proactive relationship with the organisation, partnering with business units/departments to understand the business issues and challenges faced; and working with managers to develop business focused solutions for their people challenges, enabling operational plans to be delivered thereby achieving ACCA's strategy. In this role as a HRBP you work with the specialist areas across HR to identify solutions and drive interventions to key people issues across the regions/directorates, providing robust challenge to the leadership team and coaching, developing and advising line managers in how to effectively manage their people resource.The role holder is required to provide expert technical advice, pro-actively drive cultural and organisational change Profile Past experience of working with MENASA, Europe and the Americas in an HR capacity Significant previous experience of operating as a strategic level business partner Strong knowledge of employment legislation across the relevant geographies Proven ability of operating effectively in a multi-cultural environment displaying an approach that is culturally sensitive and appropriate Demonstrated experience of the use of organisation design and change management tools including issue diagnostics, benefit and risk assessment, resource planning, option generation, transition/implementation planning, employee consultations and cost management. Knowledge of not for profit or professional bodies would be an advantage Postgraduate qualification in an HR related discipline, e.g. CIPD or equivalent is desirable Coaching qualification would be beneficial Outstanding communication skills Strong customer focus and service delivery ethos Commercially astute to understand the business agenda and translate this into people strategies Project management skills to be able to lead/contribute to project work streams. Ability to operate flexibly, work under pressure with conflicting priorities Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment where structure and process may not always be present Strong team player capable of building effective relationships across the HR & organisation teams.
