The Organisation A housing association based in East London that manage approximately 18,000 properties across London, the South East and Home Counties. The Role The housing association are looking for a Head of Asset Management to join them on a permanent basis to lead the asset management strategy across all of it's 18,000 properties. As Head of Asset Management you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all investment programmes including the five year stock survey programme and the five and thirty year business plans (circa £800m in value). Part of the role will be develop and deliver asset management option appraisals for approval and produce the annual planned and cyclical maintenance programmes. Responsibility will also be held for the fire management programme and health and safety compliance across all works undertaken. The Person This is a big role and will be challenging and exciting. You'll need to have had a solid background in asset management, stock appraisals and programme management across planned and cyclical works. You'll need to have managed a team previously who have delivered said programmes to agreed budgets. Data analysis skills will also be key in this role. The stock is large and the works varied which means that at any given time there will be large amounts of data to review and manipulate to get the information that you require. In Summary We'll repeat that this will be a challenging role but we mean this in a positive way. It would suit someone really wanting to get stuck in and work hard to get the programmes in place and make sure they are delivered as expected. You'll have a strong team around you but you will need to be able to lead the team from the front to ensure a successful outcome for yourself and the division.
