We are recruiting in our Production team for a Trainee Production Team Leader - Chill. We are looking for forward thinking individuals that are able to demonstrate management, motivation and leadership skills to support the Production Manager and the business unit. The role involves working in a fast paced environment and is focused on how to develop the production team In terms of implementing improvements and demonstrating a proactive approach to quality management, whilst maintaining a thorough knowledge of products and processes. The successful candidate will possess a good understanding of technical, production and engineering issues that can arise from a fast paced manufacturing environment. Your challenge In this role the key responsibilities will include: Producing and following a short and long term production time line Coaching and leading teams to achieve daily performance targets Actively managing employee coaching, training and development within the production team Monitoring and following through HR issues relating to absences and performance Deliver and promote continuous improvement within the team Ensure adherence to standard company policies and procedures and instill high standards of hygiene within the production team Supporting the management of audits across the department and support investigations of quality issues that arise Comply with Health and Safety measures and act as a champion to instill high levels of personal safety awareness Provide flexible support to the production team Key skills & experience Logical attention to detail with the ability to use own initiative Leadership experience Excellent communication & influencing skills Excellent technical knowledge Experience of Microsoft systems including Word and Excel Hold a relevant food manufacturing qualification The Process If you have the skills and experience in the above areas and would like to be considered for this role please apply at This job was originally posted as
