Title: Procurement Administrator Roles: To ensure that goods required to service all company departments are purchased at best price, at the correct specification and delivered at the correct time and in the correct condition. Responsible to: Assistant Manager /General Manager Responsible for the following tasks: 1. To ensure that the PROCUREMENT IT System and INFORMATE operating systems are used correctly and accurately and maintained on a daily basis. 2. To maintain a regular dialogue with all suppliers to ensure a good quality of service from them. 3. With the Assistant Manager source new suppliers and vet these accurately to ensure that they meet the company service requirements, ensuring that favourable agreements/contracts with suppliers are negotiated with respect to 'better buying’. 4. For using all procurement tools available in order to improve the procurement process and provide the highest level of service to the business and our Customers 5. Working to and delivering on Financial & Operational Deadlines 6. Weekly / monthly reporting as necessary. 7. Weekly Management of Sales Stock Levels and forward planning to ensure appropriate stock levels whilst understanding customer demand and being sympathetic to best use of Cash and Cash flow. 8. Accurate & Timely production of Purchase orders which are then tracked through to Delivery and invoice 9. Timely resolution of all Invoice or supplier delivery queries 10. Accurate Filing and Archiving in line with Standard Operational procedures 11. Working Closely with the Hire desk to understand business levels & future demands on workload. 12. Role will also involve both support & cover to Hire desk duties Full time permanent position salary is negotiable depending on previous experience. This job was originally posted as
