Group Payroll & Benefits Advisor Adlington, Chorley Competitive Salary Excellent Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen with us here at Fairpoint for a Group Payroll & Benefits Advisor to join us at our Adlington offices. You will be responsible for supporting the processing of the Group Payroll Function and the delivery of any compensation or benefits processing across the Group. You will also provide analytical and functional support and advice to our HR Function, Key Stakeholders and the wider business. Your key responsibilities as the Group Payroll & Benefits Advisor will include: Supporting in the delivery and processing of company benefits including all salary sacrifice schemes, flexible benefits, contractual benefits ensuring all are aligned & harmonised across Fairpoint Group Supporting data extraction and manipulation of payroll data to support management queries and monthly reporting Working with the Payroll and Benefits team to support monthly pay runs to time, cost and quality – with a right first time approach across at least 9 master PAYE’s. Is abreast of all payroll legislation and any future changes; supports processing to include yearend P60s, P45’s P11Ds etc Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of all compensation related data and reports in line with all legislation Providing technical knowledge in the specialism of payroll and work with HR colleagues to deliver specialist projects and interventions Inputting towards project support for any HR project as necessary Consistently deliver high quality levels of customer and client service Delivering high standards of compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and client requirements keep knowledge of employment taxes and pensions Managing employee queries to the payroll queries inbox in a timely fashion and setting expectations if a longer resolution is required Delivering excellent Customer Service skills to all staff at all levels Essential requirements of our Group Payroll & Benefits Adivsor: At least 3 years experience of running multiple payrolls covering circa 800 employees Demonstrable experience of manual calculations to support payroll verification checks Confident in using Microsoft packages- Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Office A challenging and meticulous approach to your workload We would also like to see CIPP, AAT payroll qualifications, or working towards Knowledge of payroll and finance platform integrations Making back end file submissions from payroll Previous Cascade Payroll usage Why work for us?
