Contract BI Developer (Tableau / T-SQL / SSIS) Our client is one of the UK’s most recognisable brands. They are looking for a Contract BI Developer with strong experience in Tableau and Microsoft BI stack, to work on varied and interesting projects within their Agile BI team. Contract BI Developer (Tableau / T-SQL / SSIS): About the Role We are looking for an experienced BI Developer with strong Tableau skills (both Desktop and Server). You will work with business users to deliver informative and compelling data visualisations and provide support to business teams, allowing them to get the most out of their data through the use of Tableau. You will work to tight deadlines as part of a larger team, and will also work closely with non-technical business users to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to requirement. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency across approved Tableau data sources and ensuring data source documentation is maintained and standardised. Contract BI Developer (Tableau / T-SQL / SSIS): Essential Skills and Experience · Strong Tableau skills (Desktop and Server) including the following functionality: Actions, Navigation, Dashboard Design, Data Blending, Calculations (including Level of Detail) · Familiar with the construction of Tableau Data Sources · Experience with data modelling techniques and the Microsoft SQL Server BI technology stack (T-SQL, SSIS) · Knowledge statistical data analysis techniques. · Good understanding of data visualisation best practice and design techniques · The ability to present complex information in simple, innovative and effective ways using Tableau. · Passion for both data and technology, and the ability to work to tight deadlines as part of a wider team.
