If so, this could be the role for you My client is a successful and highly regarded company based in Leicestershire and due to a recent restructure of their supply chain, they are now recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Network Manager to work collaboratively with the SC Optimisation Manager in order to ensure a smooth running and efficient supply chain across Europe. Your job: The role of the Networks Manager is to support the European Senior Supply Chain team in the ongoing evaluation of the European supply chain network (end to end), through means of data and predictive analytics. The Networks manager is required to continually review current Supply Chain Network capabilities to drive continuous improvement by strategic and tactical analysis of key performance data metrics and then to provide commercially viable and innovative insights. The NWM will be required to support the decision making process of operational, tactical or strategic changes required using scenario modelling to enable improvement in our service proposition and Supply Chain reliability in all channels within various European countries. Your responsibilities: Support the European Supply Chain senior team with the strategic planning of end to end Supply Chain operations, utilising data to drive continuous improvement, to streamline process and minimise costs. Quantify operational & financial costs of alternative Supply Chain networks designs and identify improvement opportunities. Deliver innovative, solutions driven design models, using optimisation tools to create what if scenarios 'beyond the data' that appeal to a wide range of stakeholders. Continually review Supply Chain data advising cross functional departments on internal/external trends to ensure we respond to customer demands & changing service level requirements. Ongoing risk evaluation of the SC Network considering solutions for contingency planning. Provide resource planning data and retrospective performance reporting to drive improved resource allocation efficiencies. Identify key cost drivers and evaluate disproportionate costs as a % of revenues. Review site capacity and efficiency utilisation, including product allocation and holding. Understand internal systems and available data sources and keep ahead of external market developments. Direct and drive the realisation of planned results and of departmental contributions to cross-sector projects, monitor and decide on allocation of resources/costs to remain within budget restrictions. Lead and Manage the European Networks Team. Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop Associates to ensure engagement and realisation of departmental and wider Supply Chain objectives. Ability to influence internal and external parties beyond content driven arguments and is able to appeal to and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Your profile: Higher vocational/Academic Degree in Business Management/Data Analytics/Supply Chain operations 6-8 years of relevant commercial/operational experience at a management level Knowledge of 3PL, Supply Chain trends, market insights and current technologies to enable continuous improvement of current process and methods Knowledge of principle of Integrated Supply Chain Management ISCM Experience of leading multiple activities and projects across a European scale Entrepreneurial outlook and ability to drive change through strategic thinking Other: Excel, Access database, Microsoft packages Programming Languages or SQL & knowledge of various IT systems such as AS400, SAP Experience of Lean Six Sigma principles Customer Focus and Drive for results, Business Acumen, Listening, Motivating Others, Developing direct Reports and Others, Priority setting, Dealing with Ambiguity. Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written.
