My client is a consultancy & training provider specialising in Health & Safety, ISO Management systems, Food Safety, Environmental and Security Management. The company also provide Apprenticeship and standalone projects such as Adult Skills Budget, ESF SSW, NEETS, but the main delivery is within Apprenticeships, with Grade 1 Outstanding and top 10 delivery partner with one the UK's largest colleges. My client delivers training programmes to hundreds of learners a year on various funding projects but due to expansion require experienced Assessors to work on new projects with large PLC brands throughout the UK. My client is a fast growing family run company working with large brands with national delivery contracts and is looking for assessors who are efficient, motivated, passionate about training and assessment and can develop relationships with employers. They are a grade 1 provider with 97% achievement rates, as part of the team your goal will be to manage your case-loads to maintain this high standard to ensure learners are motivated and achieve timely. Job Title: Apprenticeship Assessor - Food Manufacturing Location: Must be flexible with travel across the East Midlands, The office is based in Newark, where assessor would be expected to use as a base point for paperwork days and meetings etc. But you would be expected to manage your own time and work flow to meet targets for timely and successful completion of learners. Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 bonus based on experience Package: 20 days holidays BH’s increased on length of employment, Pension, Private Health Care, Mileage expenses but also use of company pool cars, Mobile, Laptop much more. This is a Full time, Permanent role. Ideally you will hold the following skills/qualifications and experiences: • Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA. • Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships. • Experience of delivering Functional Skills to level 2. • Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focussed. • The ability to hit the ground running with a full case-load. • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners. • Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle. • Must be flexible with travel. Your duties will include: • Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeship frameworks Food Manufacturing Excellence LV2/3, Food Industry Skills LV2/3, HABC/CIEH Food Safety courses. • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English to level 2 - Tech Cert, ERR & PLTS, equality & diversity, British values, safeguarding & H&S. • Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications. • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. • Organise and maintain documentation on learner's progress. • Support, advise and motivate learners. • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
