If you're a Support Engineer with good problem solving skills, a great communicator with a proactive attitude and ultimately get a real buzz out of going the extra mile for customers, this is the role for you Working in RM's North East IT Managed Service team, as Mobile Support Engineer you will play a vital role in the success of our Managed Service business. Working alongside site-based RM Customer Support Engineers, you will travel between school sites based in the North East, including Hull, Leeds and Nottingham to provide 1st/ 2nd line support to schools as part of a comprehensive Managed Service against SLAs. A full driving licence is essential for this role. Key responsibilities The role has a focus on providing fantastic on-site IT support with remote and local supporting resources available to help guide you in order to ensure the more complex technical issues are addressed Help to maintain contracted service levels Provide additional technical support to on-site Customer Support Engineers during peak workloads or as otherwise required Call analysis, initiating and conducting investigations and problem solving. Assist with project work Skills & experience 1st /2nd line IT support & implementation experience including MS Server 2008/2012, Windows 7/8/10 Operating Systems and MS Office 2010 through to 2016. 1st/2nd line support for Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP & WINS. 1st line support of network infrastructure, VMware, Citrix, Apple, Google & archiving solutions. Strong multitasking & problem solving abilities. Excellent communication, customer handling and inter-personal skills, via phone, face to face and other remote access methods. Strong planning, organising and prioritising abilities. Proactive and flexible to cope with change Ability to problem solve and think creatively Self motivated with good attention to detail with methodical approach to work.
