Finance Analyst - Commercial up to £24k Great opportunity for a Graduate with industrial placement experience The Role Summary: As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will report to the Commercial Finance Manager for Convenience and Impulse. This role is a key development role within KP commercial finance function. You will be working closely with the convenience and impulse sales team and assisting them to maximise their sales and profit by supplying them with insightful and actionable financial analysis. Other aims are: • Developing & maintaining strong commercial controls within the Sales teams. • Understanding business performance and the key drivers of it • Coaching the sales commercial teams to develop their financial awareness. • Ensure terms/promotions are effectively pre-evaluated and signed off • Support Financial Control team in control of the Commercial Balance Sheet The Role Responsibilities: • Support the review of and the tight control the Convenience and Impulse Commercial Balance Sheet, working with Financial Control • Monthly review of aged trade investment accruals • Manage unsolicited deductions working with AR and the account teams • Provide insightful commercial finance reporting and analysis (CRM / Weekly Call / Account reviews / NSFR / Releases Master file / LTIF • Review the profitability of promotions before sign off and challenge the sales team where necessary • Sign off of promotional spend within Demantra system • Business partnering the Convenience and Impulse sales team to help support profit enhancing initiatives • Implementation of robust commercial and financial controls with the sales team • Update the Sales out P&H Report on a weekly basis The Ideal Candidate: • Degree educated • Excellent attention to detail • Previous Excel modelling experience • First class communication skills • A passion for the FMCG industry This job was originally posted as
