This specialist, high performance, global automotive manufacturing business now requires an E-Commerce and Marketing Executive who will have responsibility for supporting business growth through the development of e-commerce activity, delivery of the social media strategy across the Group and actively driving marketing initiatives in support of building brand awareness and stronger customer relationships. The Role: Reporting directly to the Business Development Director for the business, as the E-Commerce and Marketing Executive, the role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: responsibility for developing and implementing e-commerce activity across the Group updating the main company website as required and liaising with other territories to ensure their websites are similarly maintained the day to day management of the transactional websites the planning and implementation of the marketing calendar co-ordinating and developing the social media strategy across the Group’s operating companies to support and enhance brand position, including writing copy, blogging, implementing social media campaigns, increasing website traffic, data reporting and monitoring competitor social media activity responsibility for brand building and customer experience events which maximise value for the business effectively managing resources to meet objectives on time and to budget ensuring internal support is secured for objectives and goals on relevant projects The Candidate: Preferably of graduate standard, from within a marketing, communications or business based discipline, candidates will also ideally have achieved or be working towards their further professional marketing qualifications. In addition, candidates should also be willing to demonstrate that they have: at least 2-3 years general marketing experience, working either within industry or a dedicated marketing team/ agency role experience of digital communications, online marketing practices including managing websites, social media platforms and transactional websites excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as experience using design software, CMS and email marketing software an excellent understanding of e-commerce tools and solutions experience of implementing e-commerce strategy and programmes For this customer focused role, you should be an organised, confident and pro-active individual with a professional outlook and a positive, “can-do” attitude. Used to multi-tasking, you will require excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload so as to meet required deadlines. Able to work as part of a team or under your own initiative, you should be an excellent communicator who can be flexible and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
