Position: Support Manager Location: Chatteris, Cambridgeshire Contract type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £26,455 per annum Benefits: Enhancements for Weekends and Bank Holidays, additional payment for Sleep Ins where required, 28 days annual leave (increasing with service) inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff), contributory pension scheme, paid on call, excellent training and development opportunities, childcare vouchers, employee assistance scheme and occupational health support. About the Role: The Support Manager will be passionate and committed to providing high quality support to the people they support and to their staff by promoting person centred approaches. You will be responsible for managing a range of services which meets the needs and aspirations of the people that they support. They seeking to recruit Support Managers within Chatteris and March to manage a range of individual services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours which can be challenging. You will manage with support from team leaders to ensure that the services have the full resources to meet the needs of the people being supported, i.e. staff rotas, staff being suitably trained and supported, and day to day management and presence within the services. You will also be part of their on call system for the division which is done on a rota basis and an additional payment is available. About You: To be successful in this position you will be committed to providing high quality services to people with disabilities. You will have a proven track record in delivering high quality services, either as a Team Leader or Support Manager. You will need to have management experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, preferably within a supported living service. Knowledge and experience of autism and behaviours which can be challenging would also be beneficial. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and be flexible to meet the needs of the people supported. They value the people they support and they value their staff. They want you to have all the skills you need to support people in the best way possible, so all training you need to do this will be provided. They will pay for all required courses and for you to attend all required training. You will be supported to achieve the qualifications and experience you need to further your career as part of their team.
