Due to expansion, My client is looking for an Operations Trainer. This is a permanent post, located in the Halesfield area. Background This is a new emerging department that is challenged with a hands on approach to bringing an interesting, enjoyable and on the job' style practical training program. Work instructions and standard operational procedures are the focal point to get the teams working efficiently and methodically in line to achieve their internal key perforce indicators. The Role You will deliver a blend of practical and computer based training for new and existing employees on manufacturing job functions. You will produce and develop existing training material for primarily in-house practical training sessions supported by computer based group presentations of Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. In addition you will maintain accurate training records and liaise with departmental Managers on training needs and skills gaps identified as focal points for the area. Ideally you will have previously worked in a CNC milling, manufacturing or engineering environment. You will be mainly working days 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday, however you may be required to alter your working hours to deliver training across three shift patterns. Qualifications, Skills and Experience · Demonstrated ability to influence and teach others. · Experience in a manufacturing environment with practical hands on skills an advantage. · Computer literate, able to add images and develop written material in MS word preferred. MS PowerPoint presentation skills an advantage but not essential. · Excellent communication skills with patience, tolerance, and an understanding that people learn in different ways and at different rates.
