Project Manager Our client, a leading designer and integrated manufacturer of award-winning passenger seats for some of the world’s leading airlines – has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience of managing highly complex and matrix linefit programmes within aircraft seating/interiors to join their dynamic programme team. Location: Crawley (RH11) Salary: £50-60k per annum dependant on experience Reporting into the Head of Programmes, the Project Manager will have overall responsibility for managing a number of high profile projects including linefit programmes adhering to all contractual, commercial & technical aspects. The Project Manager will act as the focal point for the project during its life cycle, for both internal and external customers, and as such being the nominated point of contact for the customer post project award. As an integral member of the leadership team, the Project Manager will communicate effectively with other engineers, project leads, client’s management and client representatives to ensure the company’s reputation for high quality products and services is maintained. To be successful in this position you will have/be; Senior level project management experience with previous management of line fit projects within aircraft seating/interiors Previous experience of working for a leading aircraft seating manufacturer or Aircraft interior manufacturer Experience of managing high complexity programmes with a high level of governance A business, management, engineering or science degree A Prince2 or similarly recognised qualification is not a must have but would be a benefit A demonstrable track record of successful project delivery with proven project management ability Dynamic and personable with the ability to manage matrix teams within an organisation Strong negotiating and decision making skills with the ability to challenge and influence at a senior management level The ability to operate under pressure and tight deadlines A positive and pragmatic approach to achieving results Strong interpersonal skills and a team player The ability to work well under your own initiative This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and award winning high growth business. eSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
