We are currently recruiting in our Logistics team for a Site Logistics Trainer. To assess site & driver supporting training needs, deliver and record training to ensure employees are effectively trained to work to the standard operating procedures and to conduct regular training reviews. Your challenge In this role the key responsibilities will include: Provide support to the driver training team and deliver training as recommended by the MMI Hub/Support Manager Share training and operational best practice regionally and across the group Mentor drivers, chill staff and transport admin through induction period Carry out annual work instruction reviews with all drivers, chill staff and transport admin Formulate training plans to meet the training needs. Incorporate new or additional Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) into training plans as required. Deliver the relevant elements of the induction courses, Handheld / tablet training, Tail lift training, Defect reporting procedures, Tachograph Training, Manual handling, Infringement management Work with tanker division if required Key skills & experience Temperature Controlled Warehouse FMCG Operations Leadership skills Continuous Improvement Health & Safety Procedures Environmental Management Systems Microsoft Office Suite (EXCEL, Word & Powerpoint) - Email AS400 or S.A.P. business information systems Warehouse Management Systems & Voice Picking System Telematic Delivery Systems Active Transport Management Systems (ATMSi) Vehicle Accident Reporting system (VARS) General office administration skills.
