THE OPPORTUNITY: A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with a charity based in Derby as a Relationship Manager. The role will include a lot of travel across England. Main purpose of the role will be to manage, maintain and grow the relationships with the external stakeholders that support Traineeships and pre employability programmes. To maintain long term revenues, doing by becoming trusted advisers to our clients and strengthening their loyalty, as well as developing strategies to generate further income streams. To develop and build long term relationships with those individuals that have benefitted from either the Traineeships and/or pre employability programmes, encouraging them to take part in volunteering and/or fundraising activities. THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, whilst identifying opportunities to maximise and build upon relationships Provide advice, guidance and support ensuring that you are up to date with relevant macro/micro economic trends both in retail and vocational skills Ensure that stakeholder communication strategies are in place for all Traineeships and pre employability programmes and that stakeholders are aware of challenges/progress of all programmes Engage with employers to identify employment and placement opportunities Maintain and develop further our relationships with external training providers to ensure a consistent delivery of programmes and income streams To visit the Traineeships and pre employability programmes, engage with individuals on the programmes and promote the charity To visit employers at a store level (store managers) providing support from the beginning to the end of programme delivery To establish and maintain excellent relationships with local and regional referrals agents to ensure planned courses have the required numbers of individuals To ensure that relationships lead to achieving set KPI's and success factors Identify potential funding streams to be able to deliver Traineeships and/or pre employability programmes Negotiate with and seek to influence external funding bodies (e.g. Department for Work and Pensions.) in order to secure alternative funding Develop and build a network of local and community partnerships to gain referrals, introductions and further funding that benefits our clients and/or the charity To actively encourage and identify individuals to take part in volunteering and fundraising opportunities To support the community fundraising, events team and the volunteer coordinator with securing referrals for fundraising events and community fundraising initiatives EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: You will be approachable and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at any level including senior/board members You will have a strong ability to be able to solve problems and overcome challenges positively, ensuring client satisfaction and sustainability for the charity You will have the ability to command the attention of varied audiences including young people, local communities, senior managers and directors- able to converse with clients about all products and service areas credibly You will have an understanding of the learning and skills landscape including Traineeships, Apprenticeships and other government funded training schemes You will be enthusiastic, passionate about supporting people into work with high levels of energy and a can do attitude You will have an understanding of the learning and skills landscape including Traineeships, Apprenticeships and other government funded training schemes Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
