A Software Engineer with solid C++ project experience, is required to contribute to the on-going success of the Toolchain for some of the most recognisable gaming technology in the world. As a Software Engineer with C++ you will join an existing team and contribute by: • Working with a highly collaborative agile team to develop (C++), test and maintain linker and binary utilities for various platforms that will be used by game development studios worldwide. • Working with our Developer Services team, providing second-line support to quickly find fixes or workarounds for issues encountered by game developers. • Interacting with other teams working on other areas of the SDK such as the runtime libraries, compiler, debugger, or profiler. Software Engineer (C++) Requirements: • Excellent knowledge of C++ • Practical experience of Python • Some knowledge of x86/ARM disassembly • An understanding of how assemblers, linkers, compilers, debuggers and performance analysis tools work • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems This would be perfect for a Software Engineer looking to work in the gaming sector, utilising their C++ development experience for cross-platform products.
