Purpose To support new product innovation, working with clients and i2O to conceptualise and define new solution areas. To ensure that clients purchasing i2O’s solutions implement, configure and use them successfully. Responsibilities For emerging and new i2O solution concepts: Build knowledge of water utility objectives and unmet needs Conceptualise how i2O future solutions could be extended and developed to meet these needs Build up to date knowledge of competitors and water sector innovations Model the potential outcomes and benefits to water utilities and i2O if new solutions could be made available Support the securing of utility partners to work with on emerging products Develop market and product requirements Project manage the client-side implementation of new solutions, working closely with i2O Product Manager(s) Identify which aspects of the innovation development process and tools can be reused in future projects and strive to maximise this opportunity. For agreed client project implementations that involve existing i2O products: Build knowledge of specific client objectives, business processes, systems and people Gain and maintain an excellent understanding of i2O’s solutions, including how a client can use; configure; implement and integrate them with their systems and processes Use both of these to shape the project implementation plan Conduct detailed planning of integration, implementation and business readiness work required by the client, their agents, and i2O to ensure the client uses the solutions in an effective, and timely manner Model the potential outcomes and benefits of the project Manage project delivery of the solution to the client, ensuring that stakeholder expectations, progress to milestones, risk, issues and finances are managed and visible to the client and i2O. Specifically: Identify risks, develop a risk mitigation plan, identify and resolve issues as they arise Build and manage multiple and varied stakeholder relationships within a client and their agents to ensure i2O’s solutions are properly understood and are used successfully. These stakeholders will likely include but are not limited to, Operations, Customer Service and IT. Act as a bridge between the Client and i2O implementation teams. Identify which aspects of the implementation process and tools can be reused in future projects and strive to maximise this opportunity. It is envisaged that this role is likely to be engaged with multiple client projects and/or emerging solution projects simultaneously. These competing demands will need to be prioritised, managed and if necessary escalated to the CTO. Essential Experience 7 years’ experience with a consulting background or equivalent with enterprise clients. Software and data background New concept development experience Project delivery including; planning, reporting, risk and budget management. Desired Experience Incident Management Worked with Water Sector or Utilities Competencies Problem solving Business acumen Critical thinking Ability to build and maintain relationships, with all levels in organisation, director to field staff. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project planning and project management RoI, value modelling, business case and financial exploration Business process mapping Gather and communicate business requirements, product requirements and identify innovation opportunities.
