A very rare opportunity to be responsible for a new division which has proven operating capability. The client is keen to employ an individual who has a drive to utilise the employer as a vehicle to success via the successful building of then security systems division. The role will encompass responsibility for the sales and growth of the division with an opportunity to grow a sales team with you as the role and division develops. The majority of the aforementioned has been delivered by organic growth bar a small acquisition. The company have an in-house monitoring centre, which provides a “best in class” service and runs in line with all industry regulations, additionally this business has invested heavily in accreditations and health and safety standards which bodes very well with regards to brand image and when going through tender processes for business, you will have multiple sites to reference when looking to bring on larger sites and their operational capability is excellent ensuring operations including systems design, installation engineering and maintenance are done to the best standard at all times. Role Responsibilities: ·Responsibility for implementing a sales growth strategy ·Growth of the division with a national remit, growing outwards as the division develops ·Management of the preferred installer partner network (should this be a chosen line of new business generation) ·Ensuring your on-going training and career development to ensure an improving, competent and up to date skill set and competency level within both the technical knowledge element of the role and senior level sales skills and management skills ·Developing and maintaining relationships with customers ·Attending networking functions ·Working with colleagues to ensure cross selling opportunities are maximised, working on national tenders as a specialist in your area ·Commercial acumen and an understanding of viability of business ·Champion positive customer oriented culture through all areas of the business The successful candidate should have the ability to exercise their role in the pursuit of achievement of the group strategy as a whole. In addition to this the role requires the capacity to understand and meet customer expectations in line with their needs vs engineering capabilities. Person and Skills Required: ·Understanding of mobile security systems ·Financially astute ·Ability to meet targets ·Demonstrable commercial acumen ·Integrity and openness ·Previous experience of networking blue chip clientele including but not limited to: Critical National Infrastructure, Transport, Property Managing Agents, Retail and Energy ·Self-motivated ·Strong communication skills at all levels The successful candidate should have the skills to influence and negotiate for which you will be rewarded highly both with exponential financial remuneration and professional development.
