As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the leadership of the Production Planning and Control team, working alongside the Production and Material Managers to provide an overarching production plan. Your primary responsibility is to schedule work to meet on time delivery in full and monthly out-turn targets. Duties Include: · Populate a detailed 12 week production plan with start/finish dates for the acquiring the kits of parts/material, manufacturing/shop-floor time and external processing operations. · Be the primary point of contact for key suppliers and service providers and manage relationships to ensure that the supply of products and/or services is delivered in accordance with contractual terms and the production schedule. · Develop and maintain a detailed capacity plan to provide a decision making tool for capital investment and recruitment. · Ensure that Works Orders are created and continually managed to fully satisfy the requirements of all Sales Orders (as regards the Quantity of Product being manufactured by the Required Date) in conjunction with the budgeted Sales Output for the month. Key Skills / Attributes · Effective time management/planning. · Strong analytical skills. · Ability to prepare production plans. · Familiar with interpreting data sets from ERP applications. · You will have applied or led improvement activities, including the deployment of lean manufacturing principles. · Previous experience in project/programme management within a multi-functional team. · People management experience · Comfortable leading teams in a challenging environment.
