Sue Ross Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to work with a successful local charity. Working in collaboration with the Chief Executive, the role involves developing strategies to win new business and generate new forms of income for the company. You will be expected to maintain and developed current funded projects and developing strategies to support ongoing fundraising for the organisation. Duties and responsibilities include; •Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of the business development strategy •Supporting the Media and Communications Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of marketing campaigns •Working with the Product Development Team to identify opportunities for system development and other related products •Identifying new business and funding opportunities •Provide line manager support and guidance to the members of the Business Development team •Liaising with funding organisations, partners and stakeholders •Developing business cases and writing winning bids •Scoping and developing bid opportunities •Monitoring and evaluating the impact and success of funding bids This is a full time permanent position based at the company’s central Sheffield office. The successful candidate will have previous demonstrable experience of preparing project plans and budgets. You must be able to identify funding/business opportunities and develop appropriate responses to generate income. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise, understand, and engage with partners, key stakeholders and organisations in the third, private and public sector.
