LOCATION: Plymouth JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager SALARY & BENEFITS: £35,000 dependent on experience WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a well-established, innovative and award winning software business based in Plymouth. They are the largest software business in the South West with their clients ranging from Public to Private sector brands. Due to company expansion they are now looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join the team. THE ROLE: Our client is looking for an experienced, dynamic Marketing Manager to lead their in-house marketing activities and to support the company in achieving their ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager to include:- Responsible for the marketing strategy and execution of plans for existing products Research and analyse market trends – identify and decide how best to reach them Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products and customer needs and insights Define product requirements in line with the market trends Responsible for the entire cycle from lead creation to nurturing, ensuring that all leads are cultivated throughout the sales cycle to support both account management and sales functions Manage and enhance internal stakeholder relationships Owning the company website and inputting onto the intranet Manage external PR agencies Plan and execute campaigns using digital tools and managing budgets Working closely with the creative team (content creation and digital marketing) Define and implement social media strategies Attend trade shows, conferences and sales meetings THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational and planning skills along with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will need to have the confidence to sell your ideas and deliver clear return on investment on activities. Having qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing is preferable but not essential. Key experience essential for the Marketing Manager role: Experience working in a Senior Marketing position of at least 2 years – Ideally marketing technology solutions and consultancy services to the Public Sector The ability to use marketing automation tools – CMS, CRM, email, Marketing automation and analytical tools Able to write meaningful reports and recommendations based on market research Excellent spoken and written communication skills Lives within a commutable distance to Plymouth Does this sound like you?
