As UI Developer you will be part of an expert team responsible for the User Interface implementation across various projects. Software needs to code at a very high standard with developers having expert knowledge of creating high-performance applications in HTML5, Less/Sass and AngularJS. You will be expected to have strong hands on experience of building Single-Page Applications in AngularJS and practice experience of taking high level designs and implementing them in HTML5, CSS3 and AngularJS, together with experience of developing responsive applications targeting multiple screen dimensions, multiple browsers and multiple devices. An established UX design team work closely with users and technology teams to develop design solutions. You will then be responsible for implementing these designs either as prototypes, as integrations in our existing web applications, or as fully deployed applications. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience of building Single-Page Applications in AngularJS CSS expert: including selectors, transitions, different box models and display styles HTML expert: including new HTML5 features, best practices and WAI-ARIA tags Experience of developing responsive applications targeting multiple screen dimensions, multiple browsers and multiple devices DOM operations optimization, related design principles, avoiding reflows and repaints Functional JavaScript details of JS functions behaviour, custom context, aspects and patterns of functional programming Asynchronous operations and patterns to deal with those Client – Server communication, REST services, real time communication using web sockets, cross origin policy Practical knowledge of CSS pre-processors like Less and Sass Practical knowledge of popular development tools like Npm, Grunt, Gulp and Bower Preferred Skills: Writing Unit testing and testable code e.g. Karma Masters or Degree in a technical discipline Knowledge of working with UX teams and designers.
