Modern Apprentice – HR Resourcing Team We have an exciting opportunity for a young person interested in gaining experience as a Modern Apprentice working in a fast paced and busy recruitment and administration environment. Whilst undertaking administrative duties, you will be able to demonstrate your creative flair in assisting our social media recruitment campaigns and learn first class attention to detail, organisation skills and an ability to work to deadlines. In gaining this experience you will undertake an approved 12 month training programme leading to an SVQ Level 2 Business Administration. You will be working with the Resourcing Team who are responsible for identifying, attracting and recruiting the people essential for our success in providing a service to the Aberdeenshire community. You will also play an important role in our current “Developing our Young Workforce Project” by contributing to events and activities in promoting Aberdeenshire Council as an employer of choice. As part of the selection process you will be asked to demonstrate your creativity, communication and organisational potential. This MA programme is open to candidates aged between 16 and 19 year old. Academic achievement to Scottish National Level 4 or 5, Standard Grades or equivalent transferable experience and skills is essential. Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £8.33 per hour.
