Strategic expansion has created an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Sales Account Manager to develop profitable relationships within the on-trade sector. The Position: Reporting to the Sales Director, you will deliver budgeted gross profit for your designated geographical region by nurturing existing on-trade accounts and successfully securing profitable and operationally viable new sales opportunities. This is very much an ambassadorial role, representing our client and the key brands/agencies it represents to hotels, bars and restaurants. This will also involve implementing and delivering marketing derived brand plans and support activities. The Candidate: Applicants will be expected to demonstrate: Dynamic and credible account management skills A track record of successfully growing a portfolio of prestige on-trade accounts WSET qualified and/or experience gained within the wine market, ideally working with brand owners Evidence of strategic brand development A passion for wine A high level of presentation, articulacy and professionalism Excellent communication and organisational skills (Ideally) fluency in a second language The Company: An award winning and forward thinking supplier of quality wines to restaurants and retailers, our client is recognised as the UK’s leading independent agent wholesaler, with an unbeatable range that includes household names though to exotic fine wines from smaller niche producers.
