Our clients are looking to take on a Surveyor to join their team. Our clients are willing to accept Project Managers from the Building and Construction industries, and then provide the training. You will be responsible for the sale of land and the managing the progress and procurement of potential new/existing projects/developments or phases through the technical, legal, planning and financial hurdles. Main duties will include: - Supporting the MD with the day to day surveying, project management and planning duties. - Maintaining property requirements database - Maintaining available sites database (Town Files) ensuring all information is inputted into database - Creating and maintaining strategic planning database - Conducting viewings of available properties - Issuing plans/documents to clients - Assisting in surveying of properties - Making telephone contact with agents to support the comparable analysis and/or availability of land/development opportunities. - Site finding duties which will include exploring the Local Plan of an area, driving in a specific area to identify possible land opportunities. - Research into build costs for projects You will have demonstrable experience in a similar role ideally having worked for a chartered surveyor or chartered planner. You will be capable of working / leading / co-ordinating a team of people, thus being able to effectively negotiate, motivate and communicate in order to influence others to ensure that the required programmes are met.
