Business Development Manager – Technology Sales London 30-40k base, 60-80k OTE Excellent Benefits Our client, a cool tech start-up is looking for an experience technology focused Business Development Manager who has sold to the education or retail channels. Through the Internet of Things (IoT), our client integrates hardware and software to teach development, programming and engineering to every age group. As a Business Development Manager, you will: Be responsible for delivering the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to contract implementation Deliver structured sales strategies, sales plans and achieve profit targets Target educational and retail accounts, developing long-term, profitable relationships - maximising new business development opportunities Work with colleagues to drive the organisation into new territories and markets The ideal candidate will: Possess a minimum of 2-3 years sales experience gained selling technology into the educational or retail channels Have a consultative sales approach, face to face and internal sales experience including lead generation, account mapping, negotiation and pitching Demonstrate the ability to adopt different sales styles to match customer’s requirements Be commercially astute, have strong time management skills and be confident working on your own initiative Be entrepreneurial, creative, high achieving and degree educated The successful sales candidate can expect a negotiable 30-40k base salary with a first year OTE of 60-80k plus additional and generous benefits.
