Sous Chef Oxfordshire- Central Oxford, great hours £24K 6.30am-3pm, 5 days from 7 We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef to act as Head Chef and run the kitchen at this amazing gem of a hotel, hidden away down the back streets of a beautiful part of the Oxford city centre. Part of a small group, this is the organisations latest addition to their portfolio. The hotel is one of those places that has become popular through word of mouth, rather than using websites to sell their rooms. We are looking for a Sous/Head Chef that can work closely with the General Manager to ensure that all guests are looked after. The restaurant only opens for breakfast and lunch and the majority of lunch guests are residents. The hotel boasts 20 lovely, traditional British themed rooms. The menu I would describe as a brasserie offering and the restaurant is 25 covers. Working both the breakfast & lunch shift, you will have a small team under you that you must manage on a daily basis. This role is 100% hands-on. You will order, write menus, cook, help clear down and will assist guests at all times. This role is absolutely ideal for a Sous Chef looking for to run their first kitchen.
