About the role: You'll be required to ensure full compliance with (Waste) Environmental Permit obligations, in relation to CHP, sludge imports, tankered imports, storage exemptions, as well as ensuring full compliance with (Discharge) Environmental Permit obligations, in relation to OSM inspections of Non-numeric conditions. Key duties whilst in this role include agreeing the requirements for compliance with permit terms and conditions with Regulatory Leads, in light of any new permits, legal updates and any variations, ensure Wholesale Teams fully understand and comply with permit obligations by providing advice & training, seeking expert advice from Regulatory Leads and support Regulatory Performance Team, providing information necessary for waste permit applications and variations. About you: In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have an innovative approach to problem solving, have the ability to prioritize needs and deliver outputs within agreed timescales and be self disciplined and able to work without supervision. You'll be equipped with technical/process knowledge – Sewage and Sludge Treatment, Environmental Permits and EMS knowledge and experience of managing projects. Its vital you have a current driving licence, a degree in Science/Engineering or a related discipline and experience in business report writing. About us: At Severn Trent, what we do matters.
