Operating from state of the art facilities accessible via car and public transport and close to Manchester City Centre, my client is seeking a talented candidate to join the Senior Management Team as Head of Commercial and Contracts. A newly created role, the successful candidate will define, direct and lead a commercial strategy that underpins business achievements and objectives. A natural communicator and leader, you will inspire and motivate a commercial team in order to generate profit. With a panache for networking and building partnerships, you will provide leadership and direction and effectively engage and manage stakeholders to achieve objectives. You will possess strong private sector experience, and have a key strategic input into this ambitious sports business. Reporting directly to a charismatic, talented and supportive Chief Operating Officer who has a great track record of developing her staff, you will become a key member of the Senior Management team. You will explore opportunities to commercialise key areas of the business with the intention of generating increased revenue which can be re-invested into more targeted projects. You will understand the importance of the customer journey, the brand development and secondary spend. You will have a clear understanding and experience of what strategic marketing looks like.
