Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer Permanent £35-45K DOE Widnes SRG are looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer for a Chemical Manufacturing company based in Widnes. You will be working within a small Electrical Maintenance Technician team, and Directly Liaising with the Maintenance Manager about the Maintenance Strategy of the Site. The role will operate on a 4 on 6 off and 4 on 4 off x 12 hour shift pattern, 6 till 6, so willingness to work on Nights, Weekends, and cover absences is a must. Some Duties for the role will include: - Breakdown response - Planned Preventative Maintenance - Troubleshooting, and Fault finding on Process Equipment and PLCs - Testing and Analysis of Systems and Equipment - KPI's and Planned Preventative Maintenance Scheduling. - Engineering Meetings. - SHEQ procedure development The role will involve working alongside other Engineers of different disciplines as well as alone, so we are looking for an active, self-starter and team player. We are looking for someone with a formal Electrical Qualification, with proven industry experience within Chemical (or similar) and strong experience with PLC fault-finding and repair.
