Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst, who will play a pivotal role in the provision of insight in order to facilitate effective decision making, alongside updating, developing and producing new reporting solutions. The role offers a wealth of business partnering, process improvement and key decision making within an International company. What will I be responsible for? As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will work closely with operational and commercial teams through the provision of meaningful analysis, commentary and reporting solutions in order to support overall business strategy. The organisation’s focus on continuous improvement therefore places an emphasis on the Senior Finance Analyst developing new management reporting processes that will appeal to each target audience. Responsibilities will include: Provide effective Finance Business Partnership support and challenge to relevant function and cost centre owners Provide high quality financial input to business decision making Interpret financial performance of the Business, identifying risks and opportunities Clearly communicate business performance to multiple audiences Drive the successful delivery of new report designs through collaboration with business leaders and business partners Robustly challenge business decision making for your areas of focus. Ensure that the company has sound financial reporting to support the management of the business for all areas of responsibility. Ensure that all management reporting is to the standard defined by Head Office for all areas of responsibility. Carry out the annual budget and quarterly forecasts using a zero based approach for all areas of responsibility Ensures that senior business leaders are actively involved in setting budgets and forecasts and take full responsibility for submissions to Head Office Production of the weekly estimated results and other KPIs to enable the management team to monitor actual performance and make tactical adjustments as necessary. Responsible for the analysis of variances utilising relevant management accounting methodology. Prepare and co-ordinate consolidated quarterly forecasts and budgets. Significantly contribute to the consolidated quarterly forecast and annual budget process, ensuring the financial and non-financial data is accurate and submitted to required deadlines. Provide analysis and reporting to Senior Finance management. Continually looking to challenge the business norm and look to deliver continuous process improvements Develops solutions to problems and looks to take charge for the implementation and delivery Is this the right role for me? To be successful within this role, you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, alongside having demonstrable experience of taking ownership and adding value within the reporting and budgeting process. Given the commercial nature of this role, you will have both experience in and a passion for communicating with an array of unique stakeholders alongside an ability to identify and deliver solutions to a plethora of operational issues. Finally, you will have advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and manipulate large volumes of data.
