Position Summary The department looks after customer queries and internal processes and controls for two trading platforms. A few of the responsibilities of these platforms are: Monitoring report processing and notifying participant of potential timing issues Assist participants with submission failure related queries. Perform monitoring of the exception reports, analyze and troubleshoot potential issues by interacting with various internal groups such as product management, relationship management, technology and development teams. Contribute in process improvements, systemenhancements and Business Requirement discussion andReview for upcoming products or functionality to be supported. Monitoring and ensuring end-of-day cash settlement of customers’ obligations resulting from the settlement of payment calculations of derivatives contracts. The process includes set up of account information, communication with CLS settlement members and day-to-day CLS interface. Processing related events, such as credit events, restructuring events, and successor events. This involves event set ups in the system and knowledge on the system processing and payment calculation . Analyzing and verifying weekly Warehouse CDS Data and escalating discrepancies to senior management, product management and development teams Primary Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot client queries, provide timely responses and perform client outreach when necessary. Performs operation related setup related to the platforms - master file setups related to event processing, such as credit events or successor events. Ensures strict adherence to procedures and critical timeframes. Performs and monitors day-to-day processing activities related to the control functions listed above Provides input to develop/modify procedures and controls in order to reduce risk Identifies processing issues for the manager’s review and resolution Assists management on routine automation/product development functions and in system testing as needed Liaise with various internal departments such as Product Management, technical and development teams, onboarding and relationship management teams May handle basic administrative processes Essential Knowledge & Skills Required Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Good customer service skills Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Well organized, able to set priorities and achieve goals Ability to adapt to change Good PC skills and MS Office – especially work in Excel Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, identify risks and “red flags,” Desirable Knowledge & Skills Previous experience in a client-service role preferred Derivatives background and/or analytical experience beneficial This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/66803092
