We are looking for an enthusiastic Pastry Chef de Partie join a small country house hotel in the heart of The Cotswolds. The hotel is part of a small group of 9 high end hotels that spread across the Cotswolds providing all guests with a luxury and memorable experience. The hotel has two restaurants along with 17 unique en-suite bedrooms and they are busy with weddings and events all year round . The main kitchen is also responsible for the catering of the many weddings that the venue is busy with all year round. Your main responsibility as pastry CDP will be to run and maintain your dedicated section of the kitchen. Possible career progression for a hard working candidate within their small group of hotels. The Role: Preparation of ingredients for the pastry menu Run and manage the pastry section Report to Head Chef & Pastry Chef for daily duties Assisting the team in producing food at Rosette level The Candidate: Previous experience in a Pastry role necessary Must be competent and level headed Willing to learn and progress skills Understanding of food hygiene and safety Benefits: Attractive salary Career progression Staff discount for overnight stays within the hotel chain 25% off all food purchases Immediate start Salary £17,000 - £19,000 Tips All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
